We are very proud of the passionate staff that we have assembled at Sally Bober & Associates. Each person that has been asked to join the staff brings unique qualities, positive attitudes and a belief that we can truly make a difference in the lives of our clients.
Whether you or your child are on the autism spectrum, struggling academically, experiencing difficulty focusing or paying attention; we understand your struggle. You may also be a neurotypical individual who desires to improve sports skills, reading skills or academic skills. We work together with families to ensure that the best and latest techniques are available.
It is our commitment to attempt to find those things that will become positive changes in the quality of our client's lives.
Sally Bober, B.A., M.A., C.C.C.
Sally Bober is a pioneer of the Speech-Language Pathologist community. After receiving her B.A. and M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas, she worked in a variety of settings: public schools, MH-MR centers, rehab/nursing homes, hospitals and outpatient clinics. Ms. Bober was the first Speech-Language Pathologist to start a private practice in the Dallas area. Sally has made improving the lives of children with Autism spectrum, with the diagnosis of PDD, ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia and individuals with Sensory Processing Disorder her life mission.
Ms. Bober is active in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA). She served as a legislative counselor which is an elected position for ASHA for four years and was on the TSHA executive board for over twenty years. She was elected Alumnus of the Year in 2004 for the University of North Texas. In 2016, she was nominated “Woman of the Year” by Altrusa Richardson, a non-profit that works to improve the local community.
Sally is a nationally known speaker and often speaks with other healthcare professionals and parent groups. Ms. Bober has been published multiple times including chapters in Dancing in the Rain by Annabel Stehli and The Out of Sync Child Grows Up by Carol Stock Kranowitz. She was the fifth site in the United States to do a three-year research project utilizing Auditory Integration Training and was personally trained by Dr. Guy Berard, a French ENT.
Sally is passionate about holistic approaches to treating children on the autism spectrum, who have been diagnosed with dyslexia, sensory processing or development disorders. She works closely with a team of professionals and who specialize in OT, PT, reading disorders, nutrition, behavior, biomedical, audiology and visual processing. For the past two years, Sally Bober has been a DFW Mom Approved Speech-Language Pathologist.
Outside of Sally Bober & Associates, she is a provider for Therapy Intensive Network of North Texas (TINNT). TINNT offers intensive treatment protocols for children with autism, developmental disorders and other special needs. These therapy programs are designed to accelerate the improvement of symptoms by creating integrated therapy solutions that focus on the entire body in as little time as possible.
Ms. Bober has two grown sons, Nicholas and Jeffrey, and resides in McKinney.
